Crane Lifting Work Platform in NASA's Vehicle Assembly Building Image
Crane lifts part of the work platforms high above the floor in NASA's Vehicle Assembly Building at Kennedy Space Center. The work platform section is prepared for installation on the south side of High Bay 3, 246 feet above the floor. Intended for Exploration Mission 1, this platform will aid in accessing the new SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft, integral to Mars exploration efforts.
