This image shows the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's (JAXA) Kounotori2 H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV2) departing from the International Space Station (ISS) with trash and unneeded items. It shows the vastness of Earth below through a fish-eye lens, capturing the curvature of the planet. NASA astronaut Cady Coleman and European Space Agency astronaut Paolo Nespoli used the station’s robot arm to release the HTV2.
