ISS Progress 38 Approaching International Space Station, July 2010 Image
This image shows the unpiloted ISS Progress 38 resupply vehicle approaching the International Space Station on July 2, 2010. The Progress 38 is carrying almost two tons of food, fuel, oxygen, propellant, and supplies for the Expedition 24 crew members aboard the station. Initially, the docking attempt was aborted due to telemetry issues, but it successfully docked at the Zvezda Service Module on July 4. This image could be used in educational materials about space exploration, resupply missions, and the operations of the International Space Station.
