Japanese Kounotori2 Intersecting Space Station's Path Above Earth Image
The unpiloted Japanese Kounotori2 H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV2) glides against a backdrop of Earth’s cloud cover as it approaches the International Space Station in January 2011. Launched by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) from the Tanegashima Space Center, this spacecraft carries over four tons of essential food and supplies for the ISS crew. This image can be used to depict space missions, Japanese aerospace advancements, international cooperation in space, and cargo shipments in the space industry.
