Large moulin on Ryder Glacier in northern Greenland, photographed during NASA's Operation IceBridge flight on May 6, 2015. Moulins are vertical shafts in glaciers that drain surface meltwater. Useful for climate science, glaciology studies, environmental awareness campaigns, and educating about polar landscapes.
