NASA's IBEX Spacecraft and Pegasus XL Rocket on Vandenberg Air Force Base Image
NASA's IBEX spacecraft and Pegasus XL rocket are being transported on a trailer at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The rocket will be attached to Orbital Sciences’ L-1011 aircraft for launch on October 19 from the Kwajalein Atoll in the Pacific Ocean. This spacecraft aims to create the first map of the boundary between the Solar System and interstellar space. This image can be used in articles about space missions, NASA projects, and rocket transportation processes.
